DESIGN ENGINEER II Yorkville, WI | Full-Time | Exempt DESIGN WHAT MOVES THE WORLD At Poclain Hydraulics, our engineers don’t just design parts—they create high-performance hydraulic systems used across industries worldwide. As a Design Engineer II, you’ll own the design and validation of components and systems, working from concept through production while collaborating with teams across the globe. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Design components, assemblies, and product modifications * Create and manage drawings, BOMs, and engineering changes (ECO/ECR) * Perform FEA, testing, and validation to ensure performance and reliability * Analyze results and provide data-driven recommendations * Support manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and sales with technical expertise * Participate in DFMEA and product validation planning (DVP&R) * Drive design-to-cost and design-for-manufacturing improvements * Contribute to innovation, standardization, and knowledge sharing WHAT YOU BRING * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred) * 5–8 years of experience in mechanical or hydraulic design * Strong CAD experience (Creo preferred) * Experience with FEA, stress analysis, and product validation * Knowledge of hydraulic systems (open/closed loop preferred) * Familiarity with DFMEA, root cause analysis, and product lifecycle processes * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Fluent English (additional languages a plus) WHY JOIN POCLAIN? * Work on innovative hydraulic technologies used globally * Be part of a collaborative, international engineering team * Opportunities to grow into technical expert roles * Competitive compensation and benefits * Direct impact on products from concept to production Work Authorization & Location Requirements
