POSITION SUMMARY

This position is for a full-time Design Engineer II within the Water Resources department in Spicer Group’s Dundee and Bingham Farms office.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Water Resources Design Engineer II will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing water resource projects to ensure efficient and sustainable use of water resources. This role involves working on a variety of projects, stormwater management, and flood control.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and other relevant software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of water resource management principles and practices

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in water resources engineering
