DESIGN ENGINEER - MANUFACTURING

An innovative engineering company based in North Wexford is seeking a Design engineer to take a lead role with their enginnering team. • Leadership – Lead in new product development and process efficency.
• Cross-Departmental – work closely with the production manager and with the customer base. Preparation of drawings and instuctions for production is part of this. Taking the lead role within the engineering team and prioritising workload for production is also part of this.
• Client & Business Development – taking responsibility and leadership to develop cliient relationships and product offerings.
• Strategic Growth & Continuous Improvement – Develop long-term company strategy, optimise systems and practices, and control costs effectively.
• Financial – Be heavily involved in designing and quotations with the key clients of the business- a key responsibility within the company strategy of growth.
