Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Design Engineer - Mechanical to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and components for our cutting-edge products. Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate and optimize designs Develop and improve product designs, ensuring manufacturability and cost-effectiveness Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product specifications and requirements Prepare technical documentation, including design reports and manufacturing instructions Troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and regulations Participate in design reviews and present engineering concepts to stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 10 years of experience in mechanical design engineering Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and 3D modeling Strong knowledge of product design and development processes Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials science Familiarity with industry standards and regulations Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
