For company profile, please visit the website :- www.assystemstup.com Job Description Objective: As a Design Engineer (Electrical - AC), the person shall be capable of preparing, reviewing & executing Engineering Activities for Solar Power Plants as per the direction of Design Lead (Electrical - AC ). He must have good knowledge in AC SLD, Building Layouts in Solar PV Power Plants. He shall facilitate the modellers in development of BIM 3D Model for Substations. Key Responsibilities: • Timely review of the drawings developed by the draftsman • Coordinate with inter-disciplinary areas, inter-departmental checks (Civil & Structural, MEP & Instrumentation) for obtaining concurrence in design specifications • Ensure compliance to specification requirements • Review of drawings and Documentation conforming to Quality systems and Check List • Review of Vendor Offers and Documents • Pre-Tender Engineering including estimation of BOM (Bill of Materials) and Offer Reviews • Prepare design calculations for Solar PV Power Plants (Cable Sizing, Transformer Sizing, Earthing, LT / HT Breakers, sizing calculations of Busbar, UPS, Battery , LT Transformer, Earthing Conductor) & other calculations (viz. Short circuit force etc.) • Reviewing of Bill of Material and comparing with the Tender Quantity Qualifications Minimum Qualification : B.E. / B.
