Join our Team as a Design Engineer! The Role: We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Design Engineer who brings mechanical engineering knowledge and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing: * Design, model, and test prototypes for products * Conduct research and create design proposals for projects * Establish design briefs * Create concept, performance, and production criteria * Identify and select materials needed for production * Create parts lists * Produce final CAD generated drawings and specifications * List costs involved in production * Make samples of working models for demonstration * Assist with planning marketing initiative for product * Assist with negotiating appropriate production processes * Travel to production facilities to evaluate processes * Improve safety, reliability, and usability of items * Use computer-aided design (CAD) for conceptual design work, proficient with Creo * Follows good housekeeping and enforces GMPs What We’re Looking For: * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering * #D CAD (CATIA preferred) and PDM system experience * Strong technical experience with troubleshoot capability * Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office What Sets You Apart: * High level of interpersonal skills * Excellent communication and documentation skills * Excellent problem-solving and strong analytical skills Where and When You’ll Work: (choose option for position and remove other two) * This is an in-person role located at our East Chicago, IN office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like: Salary - $65,400 - $94,600 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
