We are seeking an ambitious, driven and hands-on Design Engineering Manager to lead and direct our engineering design team in developing innovative mechanical solutions that drive our business forward. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of mechanical design engineering.
You will have previously worked in a start-up or small business and be able to thrive in such an environment.

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within an engineering design role
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical design engineering
• A background in either water, leak detection, telecomms or fibre optics (preferable)
• Experience working in a start up business or SME and the stresses and pressure that come with that environment
• Able and willing to travel internationally when necessary
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively at all levels of the organization.
