Description
MTSI is seeking a highly skilled Design Interface and Integrated Product Support (IPS) professional to lead lifecycle sustainment efforts for an advanced aviation platform. This role focuses on integrating systems engineering design considerations with functional logistics across all twelve Integrated Product Support Elements. The ideal candidate is passionate about aviation and dedicated to ensuring the platform supports mission success from cradle to grave. You’ll collaborate across multiple disciplines and stakeholders, integrating quantitative design characteristics with logistical requirements while driving improvements for the end users. Responsibilities · Drive the integration of all 12 Integrated Product Support Elements to meet lifecycle sustainment requirements and tailor solutions to customer needs. · Apply systems engineering principles to ensure subsystems are seamlessly integrated and optimized across the platform. · Review, analyze, and generate essential logistics documentation, including: Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP) Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) Technical Manuals/Orders (TM/TO) Work/System Specifications and Logistics Assessments · Ensure documentation adheres to Government product support requirements, such as GEIA standards for Logistics Product Data. · Review Maintenance Task Analyses to ensure completeness and accuracy · Utilize Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) source data to simulate lifecycle resource requirements and enhance operational availability. · Evaluate design interface considerations such as Safety Factors, Testability Requirements, Human Systems Integration documentation, Corrosion Prevention, and Disposal Plans. · Participate in integrated product support management team meetings, program management reviews, and related forums. · Assist in identifying engineering data requirements and data rights claims to ensure compliance with program standards. · Scrutinize design characteristics to ensure maintainability and human factors are prioritized. · Leverage digital engineering tools and lifecycle models to reduce logistical footprints and streamline sustainment strategies. · Provide strategic support for information exchange requirements to integrate data systems into enterprise maintenance platforms. · Analyze Maintenance Task Analyses to verify completeness and accuracy. Qualifications Required · Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or similar field · Minimum of 10 years of acquisition and weapon systems logistics experience. · Proficiency in USAF maintenance information systems or equivalent logistics platforms. · Experience utilizing digital engineering and logistics applications within a digital environment. · Knowledge of GEIA standards and Logistics Product Data, including Level of Repair Analyses (LORA) and Logistics Support Analyses (LSA). · Basic knowledge of Extensible Markup Language (XML). · Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. · Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications. · Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. · Military aviation maintenance experience or Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification highly desired. · Preferred experience in Special Access Programs (SAP) · Must have an active Top-Secret clearance and be able to attain SCI.
