Design Lead – BIM & MEP Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Design Lead with expertise in BIM, MEP, and Civil to drive the design process, oversee project execution, and ensure seamless collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate must have a strong MEP background in General Construction or Fit-Out, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to define, create, plan, delegate, and monitor work packages while also being hands-on with BIM Revit 3D CAD when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Project Management
Lead, mentor, and manage the design team, ensuring high-quality execution.
Define and create work packages, plan tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor progress.
Ensure effective coordination between architectural, MEP, and civil design elements.
Act as the primary liaison between the company, clients, and stakeholders to align design expectations with project goals.
Design Development & Execution
Oversee all design phases from concept development to procurement.
Develop and review detailed drawings, BOQs, and specifications for procurement and execution.
Provide expert guidance on BIM modeling, MEP integration, and civil coordination within projects.
Take a hands-on approach when necessary, working directly in BIM Revit, 3D CAD, and other design tools.
BIM & Technical Expertise
Serve as the BIM lead, ensuring BIM models are properly integrated and aligned with project requirements.
Oversee and manage BIM execution for clash detection, coordination, and design optimization.
Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams for smooth execution.
Facilitate cross-disciplinary coordination between architectural, interior fit-out, MEP, and civil teams.
Provide technical support to procurement teams regarding design specifications.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

BIM Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with BIM, Revit, 3D CAD, and related tools.
MEP Background: Solid experience in General Construction or Fit-Out projects, specifically with MEP design and coordination.
Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead teams, manage tasks, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Technical Competence: Ability to personally handle design tasks when needed, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Multi-Disciplinary Knowledge
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
