Job Title: Design Manager – Aluminum & Façade

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and innovative Design Manager to lead our aluminum and façade design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full design lifecycle—from concept to execution—ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative façade solutions that meet project objectives, budgets, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the façade design team across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Review, approve, and validate technical drawings, shop drawings, and design submissions with expert technical input.
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate façade systems into architectural and structural frameworks.
  • Conduct and facilitate design coordination meetings, addressing client and consultant requirements.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for project execution teams.
  • Oversee the preparation and standardization of shop drawings, fabrication details, and installation plans.
  • Ensure designs are compliant with UAE building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
  • Drive innovation through research and adoption of new materials, systems, and design technologies.
  • Continuously improve design workflows to enhance quality, reduce costs, and accelerate project delivery.
  • Foster team growth through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Maintain updated technical documentation, design standards, and libraries to support current and future projects.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10–15 years of experience in aluminum and façade system design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record in delivering façade solutions for high-rise, commercial, or landmark projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or other 3D design/modeling software.
  • Strong understanding of structural principles, thermal performance, and façade materials.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance design innovation with practical, cost-effective solutions.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per mont
