Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Manager Dry utilities to join our team! In this role you will get to manage the Dry utilities ( MV, LV, Street lighting, ADMCC, FOC, Telecom, etc) .

WHAT REQUIRED SKILLS YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 12+ year s of related work experience.

HANDS ON EXPERIENCE IN TAQA STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES.

  • Experience in street light design, power load calculations, coordination with TAQA.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for overall management of the infrastructure design services by LDCs and mentoring a team of engineers and CAD technicians.
  • Responsible for managing the delivery of the design and applying QA/QC protocols, verifying consistency in the designs produced by the lead consultants team with respect to adherence to the design criteria and required standards.
  • Oversee the design and development of all utilities’ disciplines from inception to completion.
  • Oversee the design process from concept development to completion, up to the tender stage.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings to review progress, address issues, and align on project goals.
  • Understands the client’s business goals to enhance the project work.
  • Supports the Program Director and client in performing other tasks as deemed necessary related to infrastructure aspects of the projects.
  • Develop and manage design, Project schedules, and timelines.To ensure design projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Present design risks and mitigations to client for review and approval.
  • Mange LDCs,, contractor to obtain periodical progress reports and feed to other departments and Client.
  • To collaborate and communicate with LDCs and other stakeholders throughout the completion of projects
  • Coordinate inter-disciplinary design team efforts to ensure seamless delivery of design outputs.
  • Review and approve developed design reports, specifications, drawings, and final deliverables for clients.
  • Manage interface coordination among all disciplines involved in the design process.
  • Review and approve the technical reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.
