ELECTRICALLY BIASED DESIGN MANAGER – 6-MONTH CONTRACT

Location: Beckton Wastewater Treatment Works, East London (site-based)

We’re looking for an experienced electrically biased Design Manager to help us successfully deliver the final stages of a major upgrade at Beckton Wastewater Treatment Works – one of the largest treatment plants in Europe. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll bring technical expertise, coordination skills, and a collaborative approach to ensure a smooth finish.

• Managing and reviewing electrical design deliverables to ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and technical requirements.
• Overseeing coordination between electrical design, other disciplines, and site teams to maintain programme and buildability.
• Managing technical queries, changes, and assurance documentation in the run-up to commissioning and handover.
• Engaging with consultants, subcontractors, and the client to resolve design challenges quickly and effectively.
• Supporting construction activities, quality assurance, and final documentation to close out the project.
