Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com Job Description As a Design Manager (m/w/d) in our Data Centre Construction team, you will be responsible for: Overseeing the design process, ensuring client requirements are met technically and economically Ensuring compliance with international standards, local building codes, and industry best practices Coordinating between disciplines (Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical/MEP) and managing stakeholder communication Identifying and mitigating design-related risks, including supply chain and technical planning issues Collaborating with the project management team on budget control and schedule management Staying informed of emerging data centre technologies and recommending innovative solutions Building and maintaining strong client relationships, translating their needs into design requirements Qualifications University degree in Construction Management or related field with minimum 5 years' experience in design management Experience with Data Centre projects are preferred Solid knowledge of Structural, Civil, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, and Low Voltage scopes of work Advanced proficiency in relevant software and reporting tools Strong communication and organisational skills with ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team Self-motivated professional with willingness to support other groups and projects when required Fluent in German and English Additional Information Our people share our Purpose and Values.
