Position: Design Manager. (Full-Time, Permanent)
Location: Zetland, NSW 2017
Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 per annum (equivalent hourly rate: $43.02 – $50.61)

Key Qualifications & Attributes:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in structural design or architecture, preferably with exposure to in-ground works.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit BIM software and AutoCAD.
  • At least 2 years of management experience in a design or engineering context.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review and verify project documentation from clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders for completeness and clarity.
  • Oversee ongoing projects, ensuring MESO Solutions’ work aligns with design specifications.
  • Coordinate effectively with architects, structural and geotechnical engineers, and other industry professionals.
  • Prepare detailed orthographic drawings, BIM models, and documentation for construction and as-built purposes.
  • Perform design drafting tasks as required.
  • Manage project hold-points, sequencing, and transition between MESO Solutions’ works and third-party activities.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, document work quality, and ensure compliance with approved designs.
  • Address design and execution changes resulting from latent conditions or external design modifications.
  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of designers and technical staff.
