JOB TITLE: Design Project Manager
REPORTING TO: Residential Operations Director
DEPARTMENT: High End Residential Department
LOCATION: Petworth, West Sussex
FULL/PART TIME: Full Time
SALARY: £30,000 - £40,000 Dependant on Experience
BENEFITS: Bonuses to be agreed.

ATTRIBUTES / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualification and experience in CAD & Revit would be desirable.
  • Knowledge / previous experience within the construction industry is preferable.
  • Formal Industry qualification, e.g. HND, CIOB would be beneficial.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural technical drawings and schematics.
  • Self-motivated and able to self-manage when required.
  • Build good working relationships with other parties both internal and external.
  • Swimming pool design knowledge is preferable but not essential as training will be given.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE:

Design technician to provide support to the design and sales team.

KEY DUTIES:

  • Preparation of CAD and REVIT design project drawing packages.
  • Preparation of builders work and service schedules.
  • Preparation of risk assessments and method statements.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc design work as required.
  • Attend design team meetings and liaising with end clients, architects and interior designers in a confident and proactive manner building effective working relationships.
  • Liaison with the sales team.
  • General office administration as required.
