The aim of the activity is to take responsibility for the low-voltage electrical energy system (generation, storage, and cranking) including power switching and battery sensing, for some Platform applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of Energy System design, technical solutions, and main technologies.
  • Knowledge of feasibility criteria and Energy System required performance.
  • Ability to manage relations with other Depts. (Propulsion System, Product Planning, Vehicle Integration & Validation, Vehicle Economic Mgmt, Purchasing)
  • Ability to manage relations with program teams.
  • The resource will use design SW and Norms, Standards, and Design archetypes provided by Stellantis
  • Software tools : EBOM, MS Office™, Teamcenter
  • English language fluent
  • General knowledge of hybrid/electric drivetrain systems is preferable since the interaction with high-voltage systems will be managed.
  • Ability to work in a team and to organize complex tasks.
  • Focus on technical details.
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural teams.
  • Good problem-solving capability.
  • Availability for business travel.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To participate, with the pre-development team, in the handover phase of relevant components/systems, considering performance, timing, and cost targets.
  • To ensure the completeness of the source package and to keep it up to date and consistent with sourcing closing.
  • To contribute to the definition of the technical validation plan of the assigned system.
  • To ensure the completeness/availability of all the necessary documents for tooling release.
  • To guarantee, support by the 12V specialist or any high-voltage components during the project development phase:

the technical feasibility, the design robustness, and the component manufacturability of the technical solution, through the coordination of product suppliers.

  • To point out the critical issues or any infringements of Design/Test Standards and to identify the actions needed to respect the assigned target
  • To manage, together with 12V specialists, the design/installation FMEAs execution performing the risk assessment and providing support during process FMEAs execution.
  • To provide the necessary documentation for the technical design changes (CCDs / CN), to accomplish their economical evaluations, and to support the EES Project Responsible during the approval phase.
  • To monitor, through the accounts departments, their application in production according to time schedule and procedures.
  • To carry out, with the help of electrical components specialists, the diagnostic activities on the relevant systems/components.
  • To provide engineering support at vehicle assembly plants from the pilot phase to the launch, each time it’s requested.
