SUMMARY

In this role the assistant will work with faculty to assist with ongoing outreach, documentation, within material sustainability research projects.
Special skills required: Pattern drafting and sample sewing skills

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in a Wilson School of Design program
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.67 (B-)
  • TCPS2 Core certification
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe CS
  • Design research analysis skills
Responsibilities

Principle Duties:

  • Assist with textile quality testing and benchmarking (technical testing and experiential/user testing)
  • Undertake guided research
  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • Contribute to the preparation of engagement materials and presentations
  • Communicate with faculty, peers, relevant internal and external partners
  • Close collaboration amongst other student researchers
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, training sessions and ongoing PD opportunities.
