POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Design & Sales Assistant to join our team. This role supports the Design Lead by assissting with sales process, guides clients through interior and exterior design selections, maintains project records, and assists with marketing efforts including website updates and social media content. A strong design sense, attention to detail, and excellent client service skills are critical for success in this role. Experience or education in sales and design is highly recommended.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education or professional experience in interior design, decorating, or a related field is required
  • Experience in sales support, client services, office administration, or a related role (construction or residential design experience is a strong asset).
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and a creative design eye.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Express, and basic website/social media tools, AutoCad, SketchUp, Chief Architect or other similar softwares.
  • Basic photography and video skills for creating marketing content.
  • Experience managing or contributing to websites (Squarespace).
  • Familiarity with project management or construction management software (experience with CoConstruct is an advantage).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, team-oriented, and dedicated to providing an excellent client experience.
