Description
About Noon Radically Changing the Way People Learn! Noon Academy is the leading edtech platform in the Middle East, with over 12 million students and teachers using our app to learn, teach, and collaborate. We have recently raised $41 million in Series B funding to expand our reach and impact in the region and beyond. We are on a mission to transform the physical classroom experience by introducing our highly engaging social, group-based learning and AI to make learning fun and improve learning efficacy. Our ultimate goal is to provide access to the best teachers to every student even if that teacher is only available virtually. We believe we can do this if we blend AI, peer-to-peer learning, and a carefully designed physical space. Hear it directly from our CEO and co-founder: this Learn more about us: here Now: We’re laser-focused on reinventing schools in Saudi Arabia. We’re accelerating rapidly, well-funded, and profitable. 📍 Riyadh, KSA | Full-time | On-site We’ve got a sweet office near the Boulevard, and we’d love to have you in it. Design, Standards & Quality Lead (Fit-out & Interiors) — Role purpose We’re not hiring a designer. We’re hiring a builder. At Noon, we are rapidly expanding our physical learning spaces across multiple locations in Saudi Arabia. Our challenge is not to design one great classroom — it’s to build a system that works consistently across dozens of sites, under real constraints, tight timelines, and varying conditions. This role is for someone who can turn complexity into clarity, and design into a scalable operating system. What You’ll Own 1. Build the Design System Define and own Noon Classroom & Facilities Design Standards Create repeatable layouts, specifications, and material guidelines Design for speed, cost-efficiency, and scalability — not just aesthetics 2. Drive Quality Across All Sites Set and enforce clear quality benchmarks Review drawings, materials, and site execution Ensure consistent output across all locations regardless of site differences 3. Bridge Design & Execution Work closely with Project Managers and contractors Ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with real site conditions Support BOQs, specifications, and tender documentation 4. Continuously Improve the System Capture learnings from each site and refine standards Reduce rework, delays, and unnecessary cost Solve site challenges quickly and pragmatically What Success Looks Like Faster classroom rollout with minimal design-related issues Consistent quality across all locations Clear, usable standards that teams can execute without confusion Strong alignment between design, execution, and operations What You Bring 6–10+ years in Interior Design / Architecture / Fit-out Strong site experience (not only office-based design) Experience in multi-site projects or rollout environments Proven ability to build standards, manuals, or repeatable systems Strong understanding of materials, detailing, and execution realities Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment Practical Requirements Based in Riyadh Willing to conduct frequent site visits across multiple locations Valid Saudi driving license Own vehicle or reliable mobility What This Role Is NOT Not a purely creative or aesthetic design role Not limited to producing drawings or concepts Not a slow, consultant-style environment Why This Role Matters You will directly shape how Noon builds its physical learning experience at scale. Your work will not live in presentations — it will be built, replicated, and experienced by thousands of students across multiple locations. Why Join Noon Build something real at scale High ownership and direct impact Fast-moving environment with meaningful challenges Opportunity to define standards from the ground up Final Note If you are looking for a traditional design role, this is not it. If you want to build systems, solve real execution challenges, and see your work come to life across multiple sites — we’d like to speak with you.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage scalable design standards and repeatable layouts for physical learning spaces across multiple locations. Ensure consistent quality execution by bridging the gap between design specifications and on-site construction.
