We are looking for an exceptional, forward-thinking Senior Product Designer to join our Design System team. This role isn't about creating another component; it’s about reimagining the entire design system workflow and architecture to support a new generation of AI-powered products and interfaces. About The Role This role is a strategic blend of ownership, partnership, and visionary thinking. You will be instrumental in making monday.com's interface simple, consistent, and intuitively aligned with our accelerating product needs. You will join the core Design System team and be an essential contributor to our mission. You will not just use the system- you will shape the way the entire Product Design Guild builds and collaborates. Rethink the System for AI: Contribute to and drive initiatives to adapt and evolve our Design System to accommodate the next wave of AI products, new interaction models, and dynamic content. This mandate includes challenging classic component structures and exploring solutions for system-level support for generative design. Design Governance: You will be a key steward of the Core Design Foundation, contributing to the Figma Design System files and upholding world-class execution, consistency, and structure across the platform. Innovate the Workflow: Design and co-own the foundational patterns, documentation, and advanced internal products and tools that empower our entire guild (designers and developers) to leverage the system at scale. This is not about production design- it’s about product design for our builders. Process & Governance: Actively participate in defining, managing, and driving the Design System change process, ensuring seamless adoption and governance across the R&D organization. Alignment & Advocacy: Your stakeholders are the entire Product Design Guild. You will proactively identify areas for improvement and partner closely with product designers to ensure the system elevates their work, driving product-wide visual and functional alignment Requirements 4+ years of experience in designing complex digital products. 2+ years of dedicated experience working on or building robust Design Systems at a product-focused company. Mastery of Figma’s component libraries and advanced capabilities (variants, variables, APIs, etc.). High proficiency in both written and spoken English.
