My client, a specialist industrial door engineering company, is looking for a design technical project support engineer to join their team. You will strengthen the engineering function of the company, providing technical support, guidance, and documentation to the sales, projects, reactive, manufacturing and quality departments.

THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DESIGN TECHNICAL PROJECT SUPPORT ENGINEER WILL INCLUDE

To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed.
Computer Aided Design (CAD) capability to:
Support the development of product within the company portfolio.
Bespoke solutions to satisfy customer needs.
Sales support, Integrating current product to customer site specific needs.
Documentation of what good looks like
Assembly and SOP information
Report on project progress in an appropriate way to an appropriate level using the company database.
Responsible for organising and maintaining documentation and technical files.
Become familiar with the relevant standards and legislation to help ensure projects and product solutions comply.
Take ownership of and assist the factory with any machine builds that have had significant input from engineering.
Build and expand on training material and standard operating procedures to upskill the engineering workforce.
Support engineers on site with out of the ordinary challenges.
