Job Description
As part of projects to modify or add telecommunications equipment, you will participate in engineering mandates related to telecommunications towers and associated structures. You will assist the engineer in developing technical solutions, and take charge of the design and layout, assisted by specialized technological tools, in accordance with CIMA+’s high-level standards. Join our dynamic team, working on projects with some of today’s largest carriers and major customers. We offer you a flexible hybrid work mode, working from home and at our Montreal or Laval office.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • DEC in civil engineering or architecture, or other training deemed equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Mastery of the French language (oral and written)
  • Technical design skills
  • Teamwork, interpersonal skills and the ability to learn

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project team members during project implementation
  • Design telecommunications towers and related structures
  • Produce detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD software and 3D design tools
  • Ensure that deliverables comply with applicable codes and standards, company drawings and other customer specifications
  • Research and gather information relevant to the mandate
  • Participate in various internal technical meetings
  • Conduct field visits or surveys (if interested)
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s activities (standards, work methods, new tools, etc.).
