MUST HAVE SKILLS

• Holds a graduate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in one of the following fields: IT, with an interest in CAD software; a technical specialty related to design (e.g. civil engineering, electrical engineering, automation); and has an interest in IT
• Has mastered, or is motivated to master in the medium term, the relevant design software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, macros/VBA
• Demonstrates both creativity and a strong sense of rigor and precision
• Desires to achieve a high level of expertise in their specialty
• Curious and eager to explore new technologies (e.g., BIM) in a rapidly evolving field
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with a good knowledge of the second national language
• Ability to communicate fluently in English

• Based on user requests and/or needs, adapt and optimize design tools through configuration, creation, or modification of macros
• Support for project team users
• Monitoring of more complex problems: analysis, contacts with supplier support, identification of workarounds
• Participation in the definition of the design methodology
• Organization of training and workshops on design software
• Maintenance of administrator documentation and methodology
• Monitoring, evaluation, and validation of new versions of software used in production, in collaboration with the Business Analyst in charge of design tools and suppliers
• Validation of equipment intended for designers (for example laptops)
• Monitoring technological software and/ or hardware solutions available on the market, in order to identify and possibly to evaluate the most interesting ones for the business
• Coaching of its direct colleagues
• Identification of needs in terms of training among its direct colleagues and internal customers
