Job Role: Designated Learning Support Assistant (Part-time)

Salary: Point SS8 of the published Langley School Support Staff pay scale.
£24,628.50 FTE (subject to pro rata).
Hours per week: 0.5 FTE, Monday to Friday mornings
Weeks per annum: 35
Contract: Fixed term until 31 August 2026

Joining us as a Designated Learning Support Assistant 1:1, you will play an important role in helping our pupils to take an active role in their own learning, challenging them to ask questions, think critically, and respond positively to feedback. Our Designated Learning Support Assistants 1:1 provide clarification, explanation, motivation and encouragement to the pupil, giving specific help in weak areas, promoting study skills and encouraging independence.
