DESCRIPTION DU RÔLE

Le Designer graphique participera à la création de nouveaux projets sous forme numérique ou imprimée. Dans ce rôle, vous serez responsable de soutenir le cycle de développement des produits en créant et en maintenant des outils de vente, des illustrations, des logos et des photos afin de promouvoir les marques Stanpro, AimLite et les autres marques affiliées au groupe Ascot Capital.
Si vous êtes passionné par le marketing et le design, vous aimez gérer plusieurs projets et le domaine de l’éclairage vous intéresse, alors vous êtes la personne que nous recherchons !

QUALIFICATIONS:

• DEP ou diplôme collégial en Illustration et Design ;
• Minimum de 1 à 3 ans d’expérience dans un poste similaire ;
• Excellente connaissance des produits Adobe CS, InDesign, Illustrator et de la suite Microsoft Office, ainsi que de l’édition, de la photographie et de la production imprimée ;
• Le bilinguisme est requis.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer will participate in the creation of new projects in forms of digital or printed. As a Graphic Designer you will be responsible of supporting the product development cycle by creating and maintaining sales tools, illustrations, logos and photos in order to promote the Stanpro, AimLite and other affiliated Ascot Capital Group brands.
If you are passionate about marketing and design and enjoy managing multiple projects, and are interested in the lighting industry, then you are the person we are looking for!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• DEP or College Degree in Illustration & Design;
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position;
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe CS products, InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft Office Suite, editing, photography and print-production;
• Bilingualism is required.

SKILLS :

• Knowledge of multimedia design and experience building files for both print and digital.
• Demonstrate hands-on skills in the latest Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro, an asset.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-pace environment and with specific deadlines.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Autonomous, self-motivated and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

• Working in collaboration with the internal teams to create and maintain all required collaterals for products while respecting brand differentiation, strategies and project timelines (specification and sell sheets, packaging, brochures, product and web images, infographics, videos, etc.)
• Analyzing the design brief and ensuring that all marketing collaterals adhere to brand guidelines.
• Retouching and creating concept images respecting corporate standards.
• Developing product illustrations, logos, and documents according to the project plan.
• Presenting the various tools to the product development team as they become available and applying changes accordingly.
• Reviewing and ensuring that final graphics and layouts are meeting the corporate standards and are approved by the product development team.
• Responsible for accuracy with artwork packaging.
• Support various Ascot corporate initiatives by creating visual content, as required.
