SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop (essential)
  • Working knowledge of CorelDRAW (desirable but not essential)
  • An eye for detail, layout, colour, and typography
  • Experience with or willingness to learn how to operate CMC and Laser machines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative studio/workshop environment

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re seeking a creative and hands-on Designer with a passion for both graphic and product design. You’ll be working closely with the Head of Design and the business owner, contributing to the full lifecycle of our framing projects—from concept to physical production. This is a varied role that balances digital design with hands-on making, using both traditional and tech-driven tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create custom digital mockups for framing designs using Adobe Photoshop
  • Assist in developing new framing products and design concepts
  • Operate CMC (Computerised Mount Cutter) and Laser Cutting Machines for precise production work
  • Prepare artwork and templates for printing and physical assembly
  • Collaborate with the workshop and design team to ensure seamless project execution
  • Maintain high attention to detail and quality across all design outputs
  • Communicate effectively with team members and report progress to the Head of Design and business owner
