Description

Description NJI is an agency where creativity knows no borders. We navigate the complexities of public affairs, charting new paths across industries and continents to deliver work that sparks conversation, shifts perception, and inspires action. The Role We're not actively hiring for this role right now, but we're always looking to connect with talented people for future opportunities. This position thrives on exploration: someone ready to navigate the complexities of multidisciplinary design while collaborating with a global team spanning multiple time zones. We welcome designers at any level, and we'll calibrate the role and scope to match your experience. This role is your passport to ambitious, versatile work across a wide range of industries, formats, and clients. Note: This position is hybrid, requiring in-person work at our Georgetown office minimum three days per week. Local team members are expected to be present on Wednesdays for our weekly lunch and to select two additional in-office days that best align with their schedules and project needs. This structure allows flexibility while supporting collaboration and culture-building across the team. What You'll Do: Stamp your Brand Passport: Contribute to creative concepts through pitch decks, moodboards, sketches, and brand execution. Design Across Borders: Build out creative materials across diverse formats and channels, adapting your approach to each client's needs. Make Moves: Explore and create motion and animated assets when projects call for it. Anchor in Excellence: Ensure visual consistency and impeccable quality across deliverables by adhering to brand guidelines and refining every detail. Navigate Digital Terrain: Support digital production work using your design tools of choice. Collaborate Globally: Work closely with a dynamic international team to execute concepts aligned with established client brand systems and contribute to projects from concept through delivery. Prepare for Launch: Ready final files for production, ensuring technical precision and on-time delivery. What We're Looking For: Wowza portfolio: You have astute aesthetics. Your portfolio should demonstrate strong design fundamentals and range, with working knowledge of tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Applications submitted without a portfolio link or attachment will be disqualified. Growth-Mindset: You find opportunity in challenges. NJI is a fast-paced, growing business across the globe, which means constantly re-evaluating how we operate. We're seeking a partner thrilled to contribute to that growth. Skill-Fluency: You have an ability to pivot between techniques and toe the line between design and art. Creative-Enabler: You know how to foster creativity within a project and collaborate with stakeholders of all levels for best results. Avid Listener: You make internal and external clients feel heard, inspired, and transcended in your conversations, offering best practices and sound counsel. Process-Guru: You have a track record, or a clear point of view, on scaling and improving large, multi-faceted projects. You know how to streamline every phase of a creative project from research and ideation through refinement and delivery. Diversity Commitment. Authenticity is the foundation of boundless creativity. Rooted in diverse life experiences, our team challenges the status quo through our work and culture every day. We are committed to sustaining and improving NJI's inclusive workplace by actively expanding the diversity of our team. We encourage people from underrepresented groups to apply. If you require accommodations or assistance during the application process, please contact info@njimedia.com.We are unable to offer work visa sponsorship at this time. Cover Letter. We think of cover letters more in the old-fashioned pen pal sense. Putting pen to page to share your greatest thoughts and interests. So, keep the job summary and skills list in your resume and write something that personally expresses more about who you are and what draws you to NJI and this role.
