SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years’ experience in womenswear design, ideally within a fast-paced fashion or e-commerce environment.
• A strong personal connection to the Oh Polly brand, you should live and breathe the aesthetic and understand our customer intuitively.
• A sharp eye for cut, silhouette, and fabric, with the ability to translate luxury trends into accessible, wearable product.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and able to produce accurate, clear tech packs.
• Highly trend-aware, particularly when it comes to social media-led trends and influencer-driven fashion moments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, confident presenting your ideas and working cross-functionally.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a talented and trend-driven Designer to join our London team at Oh Polly. You’ll play a key role in shaping our collections, working closely with our Design Director, Buying, Product Development, and the wider Creative team to bring bold, trend led designs to life.
You will have a strong eye for detail, a deep understanding of the luxury fashion, and a genuine connection to our customer, someone who not only understands her style, but is her.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design commercial, innovative, and trend-led collections that reflect Oh Polly’s brand DNA and resonate with our global audience.
• Conduct ongoing trend research across runways, social platforms (especially TikTok and Instagram), influencers, and street style with a strong understanding of what’s commercially viable.
• Translate luxury inspiration into elevated, wearable designs that align with Oh Polly’s aesthetic and price point.
• Own the design process from concept to final tech pack, working closely with Product Development to ensure design integrity is maintained through sampling.
• Collaborate with the Buying team to develop collections that are both creative and commercially successful.
• Attend regular fit sessions, providing input to maintain design intent through to production.
• Stay engaged with customer feedback, reviews, and competitor analysis to continually refine and improve future designs.
• Present ideas and collections clearly to internal stakeholders and contribute to creative planning across the business.
