Description

DESIGNER:

On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for a Designer for a 5 month contract role. This position is a remote position located in Toronto, ON, Canada.

DESIGNER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Designer will support core and network-wide campaigns by responding to creative briefs, attending client briefings, and contributing ideas to creative approaches. The role involves designing and presenting concepts for approval, collaborating with fellow designers and stakeholders, and creating content for various platforms and social media.

DESIGNER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and work to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Holds oneself to high personal standards with great attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Design Portfolio is a must
  • 3-5 years of design experience within corporate communications or agency environments

DESIGNER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Video editing and working knowledge of After Effects
  • Understanding of UX/UI
  • Photography and illustration skills
  • Working knowledge of Infogram tool
  • Experience in B2B marketing, professional services industry
Responsibilities
  • Respond to creative campaign briefs supporting core and network-wide campaigns
  • Attend client briefings, brainstorms, and contribute ideas on the best creative approach
  • Design and present concepts to senior level for approval
  • Be the brand’s guardian
  • Collaborate with fellow designers and stakeholders to bring differentiation and well-crafted, led design ideas to life
  • Synthesize competitive creative data and trends to inform and support creatives
  • Create content aligned to and within specifications powering website, social media content, advertising, and other design collateral
  • Create and evolve visual identities and templates
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage your own time to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate a passion for leaving things in better shape than you found them
