DESIGNER (PART-TIME)

Location: UK (On-site)
Hours: 16 hours per week
Appetite Me are the leading innovators in rural development. With true expertise, experience, and skill, we work with landowners across the UK to plan and implement a full range of diversification projects.
We’re looking for a dynamic Designer to join the Team. If you’re a creative self-starter with a passion for design, an eye for detail, and a drive for excellence, this could be the role for you.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We’re looking for someone with:

• Strong attention to detail, with excellent verbal, written, and proofreading skills.
• A creative flair and critical eye for design.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Required: Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Desirable: Experience with Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro, Microsoft Office, WordPress, Sketchup and Divi.

EXPERIENCE:

• Adobe InDesign: 1 year (preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (preferred)
• Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (preferred)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Graphic Design or Graphic Communications (required).

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Designer, you’ll play a key part in supporting our creative output across Appetite Me, and our clients. From branding to digital marketing, you’ll bring fresh ideas and execute them with precision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop design concepts for branding, signage, labelling, and digital marketing (including websites).
• Work collaboratively on client business plans – large documents created in InDesign.
• Use existing templates and guidelines to produce presentation documents for Appetite Me.
• Collaborate with the team to generate engaging new ideas.
• Liaise with clients and attend meetings when required.
