The Engineering department is looking for a Design Engineer in Monza site (Regular Contract)

What about the job

In your role you will:

  • Use computer‐aided drafting (CAD), Auto Cad, Inventor, etc. to develop pipe routing, carpentry, 3D assemblies and construction drawings.
  • Draft of P&ID and detail drawings for projects, based on the process engineer requirements and on the specific project customization.
  • Ability to convert P&ID to 3D production projects
  • Realization of Bill of Material documentation.
  • Import and manage BOM in MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software and document folder preparation for internal workshop
  • Perform simple system design tasks (pipe sizing, etc.).
  • Prepare of skid lifting drawing, 2D drawings and 3D modeling to support product development and continued maintenance of portfolio.
  • Create Design (Drawings, details, calculation, FEA). Plan, execute and follow up drawings based on contract review / technical specifications.
  • Coordinate of 3D works and drawings with other functions, support and follow up of internal/external workshops.
  • Participate in various project teams, which can be cross functional.
  • Desire to contribute to Design Office construction, growth and development (procedures, documentation, way of working, knowledge shared documents…)

What you know

  • Knowledge of machining and welding of piping components and carpentry.
  • Desired (but not mandatory) experience in designing industrial skids with piping, supports, pumps, pressure vessels, valves, equipment and carpentry.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor or similar 3D tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft ® Windows environments and Office package.
  • Knowledge of MES system philosophy and usage (possibly GP PROGETTI eNX)
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as Design ENGINEER.
