    Job Title: Desk Assistant (Student Position) Reports To: Resident Accounts Specialist Location: Campus Corner Apartments at Green River College Compensation: $17.99 per hour. Working up to 20 hours a week. Position not eligible for benefits  FLSA Status: Student Non-Exempt   Company Information Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM), with headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama, is a group of student housing professionals focused exclusively on the management of housing communities owned by non-profits and/or highly affiliated with a university.   Summary The Desk Assistant at Campus Corner Apartments is responsible for assisting operations, front desk, and residential life staff in completing various administrative tasks while working at the campus housing front desk area.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  * Performs clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, organizing, and maintaining files. * Performing errands that help with daily functions. * Assisting with the mail and packaging process. * Assisting residents with work order requests and facilities issues. * Assist with special projects. * Participating in Move in/Move out, Renewal Intentions, Resident Appreciation Week, and other special events. * Responsible for assisting with set-up & breakdown of all program spaces. * Checks out equipment to residents. * Reports policy violations or security issues to appropriate staff. * Other duties as assigned.  Qualifications:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
