Responsibilities
  • Warmly welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipating their needs to deliver an exceptional 5-star service.
  • Assist guests with luggage, directions, transport arrangements, and local recommendations.
  • Manage guest cars in accordance with procedures and ensure the safe handling of belongings.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel services and local amenities to assist with reservations for taxis, restaurants, theatres, flights, and events.
  • Handle guest correspondence and enquiries (telephone, email, in person) with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensure smooth communication with colleagues and management, attending briefings and training sessions.
  • Uphold Merrion and LQA standards, policies, and security responsibilities at all times.
  • Support with night porter duties when required.
  • Contribute to sales by positively promoting all hotel services.
  • Take responsibility for training and supporting junior team members.
