Description
Catalyst Operations & Analytics is seeking Desk Officers/Soos. Desk Officers apply advanced knowledge and expertise of operations, operational tradecraft, and intelligence priorities when providing strategic guidance and operational case management. In addition, they are responsible for program management for the customer, from traditional operational activities to specialized initiatives. Desk officers will utilize customer-specific databases to conduct multiple layers of research and write summaries, reports, official correspondence, and guidance. This post represents multiple openings. Applicants will be evaluated and placed in a position level from 1-5 based on their experience and customer feedback after assessment. Required Skills: You must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered 3+ years of relevant professional experience Familiarity with cable writing and classified databases, including specific targeting tools Strong analytical, briefing, and writing skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex information accurately and effectively. Expertise in a particular geographic region or transnational target, with a solid understanding of associated challenges and trends. Excellent verbal, written communication skills, able to convey clear, concise information to diverse audiences. Highly self-motivated, capable of multi-tasking, and effective at working under pressure. Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases Experienced in monitoring field communications using customer databases and engaging with field offices to support targeting efforts. Strong interpersonal, networking, and problem-solving abilities. For senior and expert roles: adept at evolving analytical priorities, overseeing work quality, and providing guidance to junior and mid-level team members. May supervise lower-level analysts.
