JOB TITLE: TEAM LEAD – DESK SIDE MANAGER

Location: Gloucester, Massachusetts,
We are seeking a Team Lead – Desk side Support Technician to join our IT support team in Gloucester, MA. This onsite role involves providing end-user support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, Zebra printers, and network connectivity. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle VIP escalations and hardware logistics efficiently.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a deskside or IT support role
  • Strong proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise apps
  • Experience with Zebra printers and tools like ZPL or ZebraDesigner
  • Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Familiarity with SCCM, MDT, or similar imaging and deployment tools
  • Experience in VIP or executive user support
  • Solid communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move IT hardware when needed

Responsibilities
  • Provide deskside support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment
  • Install, configure, and maintain Zebra printers, including firmware and connectivity
  • Respond quickly to VIP and executive-level support requests, ensuring prompt resolution
  • Troubleshoot network issues (wired/wireless), including port activations and switch-level diagnostics
  • Manage PC logistics including imaging, deployment, asset tagging, inventory updates, and hardware swaps
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, and IT asset movements
  • Collaborate with remote support teams and escalate technical issues when necessary
  • Adhere to organizational IT policies, procedures, and security standards
