DESKSIDE AGENT, SENIOR (SENIOR IT SPECIALIST)

Location: Washington, D.C.
Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizenship with eligibility for High Public Trust
As a Senior Deskside Agent, you will provide advanced in-person IT support to Treasury Department staff at Washington, D.C. offices. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues with minimal escalations, ensuring seamless operations for end users. In this role, you will also contribute to knowledge transfer, mentor junior staff, and help improve deskside support processes.
Salary Range: $90k-103K

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)

  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for High Public Trust clearance.
  • 1–8+ years of relevant IT support experience.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common productivity tools.
  • Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
  • Federal government or large enterprise IT support experience.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent training.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver in-person IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Perform software installations, updates, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Provide warm handovers and effective coordination for escalated issues.
  • Document and track service tickets, resolutions, and activities in ServiceNow.
  • Assist with inventory management and equipment logistics.
