As a Desktop Support, you will make an impact by giving technical support. You will be a valued member of the team and work closely with the Retail team. In this role, you will: You will have regular interactions with various store coaches. As part of our elite Retail support team that provides technical support and expertise in client retail stores This team works in a total contact ownership model that includes receiving direct instructions for L3 SMEs for items within a customer store. A typical day/week looks like you are monitoring intake channels (phone calls/texts/emails/slack/SNOW tickets) to quickly respond to any question or problem our users have with technology. You will work face to face to assess the situation apply your skills with the knowledge of our environment to resolve or escalate to get a resolution and restore service or provide the information. Retail support technicians offer customer service problem-solve computer issues provide hardware and support install software upgrades create and maintain documentation etc. Work model: At Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible, and we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Beaverton, OR. What you need to have to be considered requires 2 to 5 years of Experience in Installing troubleshooting repairing hardware which support retail operations Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Show strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. These will help you stand out Have a proactive approach to identifying and implementing technical solutions. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until October 27, 2025 The annual salary for this position is between $37,800 to $59,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
