SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Support Technician in a Hardware Depot, Onsite Support, or general IT support environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in endpoint configuration toolkits: primarily Intune/Autopilot.
  • Experience in other toolkits is a plus (MDT, AirWatch/Workspace One, & ManageEngine).
  • Familiarity with Apple configuration toolkits (ABM, Apple Configurator, & JAMF).
  • Familiarity with endpoint patching toolkits (ConnectWise RMM, & Ninja RMM).
  • Familiarity with vulnerability remediation toolkits (SyxSense & Absolute).
  • Familiarity with enterprise backup toolkits (Acronis).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency with common hardware, software, and technologies: Windows, Office, iOS, laptops, tablets, Mobile Device Management (MDM), VPN, & Wi-Fi.
  • Familiarity with Best Documentation Practices.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow a plus.
  • College or technology school degree.

Responsibilities
  • Communicating and collaborating with client decision makers for on-boardings, projects, and change requests.
  • Monitoring ticket queue for emerging incidents that require T2-T3 support for resolution.
  • Update tickets within ServiceNow with detailed documentation of the resolution, as well as researching/creating/updating Knowledge Base documentation (also within ServiceNow) for future reference.
  • Create, manage, maintain patching schedules per client-specific rules via RMM toolkit (primarily ConnectWise).
  • Familiarity with other RMM tools clients manage themselves internally, such as Ninja RMM.
  • Perform troubleshooting on endpoint image/environmental issues that require scripting/policy adjustment within the endpoint management tool, such as Intune & JAMF.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in build processes and make recommendations on configuration enhancements to encourage a simple, repeatable, quality-controlled build process across PC, Mac, and mobile device configurations.
