Description
Description We are seeking an IT Support professional to join our medical office team. The IT Support professional will report to and work closely with the IT Director and will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for all incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and other technology equipment used in the medical office. Must thrive working in a fast-paced environment while remaining responsive, resourceful and efficient. Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for all users in the medical office, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals Install and configure software applications and operating systems as needed Maintain and update hardware and software inventory Provide technical support to all staff members in the medical office, including training on the use of technology Maintain and update the medical office's network and security systems Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues Maintain and update backups and disaster recovery plans Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant IT policies and procedures Collaborate with external IT vendors and service providers as needed Requirements Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree or 2 years equivalent work experience. A degree in the field of Computer Science is a plus, but not required Experience with IT support in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus, but not required Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong working knowledge of Windows 10-11 and Microsoft Office 365 Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Strong technical aptitude (hardware, database, etc.) is a must Knowledge of computer hardware and software, operating systems, and network technologies Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and other relevant IT policies and procedures This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits package.
