OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop and Network infrastructure engineer to join our team. This role involves leading the migration to a Windows 11 Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and overseeing a MPLS and SD-WAN network environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless migration, robust security and network infrastructure readiness for a number of local and oversea sites.

Responsibilities
  • Implementation of Desktop and Network modern workplace infrastructure. Manage and execute the migration to Windows 11 Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) from planning through implementation.
  • Oversee the transition of MPLS and internet SD-WAN network environment.
  • Ensure network security and integrity throughout the migration process.
  • Determine and implement best practices for the configuration, administration, and support of Desktop and Network infrastructure.
  • Provide extensive troubleshooting in the installation and configuration of desktop and network deployment issues and perform root cause analyses.
  • Assist desktop engineering with Windows desktop OS deployment and automated build processes, including performance tuning.
  • Develop partnerships and collaborate with key support, architecture, engineering, and security teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategies with business goals.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support on desktop hardware, software and network incidents.
  • Produce project plans and report progress to management.
  • Document processes and provide training to end-users.
