JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Support Analyst to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our users across various operating systems, including macOS, Linux, and Windows. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems and networks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in technical support or IT support roles.
  • Familiarity with help desk software such as BMC Remedy or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts, including firewalls and LAN configurations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for desktop and laptop computers, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Assist users with VPN connectivity issues and ensure secure access to company resources.
  • Utilize tools such as ServiceNow and Jira for ticket management and issue tracking.
  • Support computer networking tasks, including LAN setup and maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, including macOS, Linux, and Windows.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on computer hardware to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance IT support processes and improve service delivery.
  • Maintain documentation of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
  • Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
