We are looking for a capable and motivated Desktop Support Engineer to coordinate support activities ranging from basic troubleshooting to complex systems support. This role involves onsite/on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Strong troubleshooting skills (Windows, Apple, virtual environments)
  • Knowledge of:
  • Windows OS (XP, 7, 10)
  • MS Office applications
  • PC/Laptop hardware and peripherals
  • Mobile device support
  • SCCM (basic knowledge)
  • Active Directory and Exchange (basic knowledge)
  • Apple OS (basic knowledge)

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar desktop support or end-user support role.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot computer OS and peripheral issues
  • Provide support for Windows 7/8/10 environments
  • Perform hardware/software installation using deployment tools like SCCM
  • Support printer and mobile device issues
  • Install and troubleshoot Microsoft Office tools
  • Work with SOE, group policies, Active Directory, Exchange, and Apple OS
  • Deliver field support for a variety of technologies
  • Manage time and priorities efficiently, especially in high-pressure situations
