We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth IT operations. The role will involve supporting end-users with hardware, software, and network-related problems both onsite and remotely.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, IT Support Technician, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common enterprise applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
    Job Type: Contract
    Contract length: 12 months
    Pay: AED430.00 - AED450.00 per day

Responsibilities
  • Provide first and second-line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS) and business applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Support Microsoft 365, email clients, VPNs, and remote access tools.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions via Active Directory.
  • Assist with video conferencing setup and support (MS Teams, Zoom, etc.).
  • Log and track support requests in the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with other IT teams for escalated incidents and complex troubleshooting.
  • Maintain IT inventory and perform equipment lifecycle management.
  • Follow IT security policies and industry best practices.
