JOB TITLE: DESKTOP-L1 ENGINEER

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Desktop-L1 Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance for end-user computing devices. The ideal candidate will handle initial troubleshooting, resolve basic technical issues, and escalate more complex problems to higher levels of support. The goal is to maintain seamless operations and robust network performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support.
· Strong understanding of device configurations, and security principles.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
· Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

· Minimum of 2 years of relevant Desktops Support Experience
· Skills for - Remote troubleshooting and test alternative pathways until issues are resolved
· Customize desktop applications to meet user needs and record technical issues and solutions in logs
· Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel and follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
· Help create technical documentation and manuals
· Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking issues
· Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
· “Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role.”
· Hands-on experience with Windows/Mac OS environments.
· Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners.
· Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
· Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
· Customer-oriented attitudes
