Northwest Center is now hiring for a Desktop Support position!
The Desktop Support will serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance within the Northwest Center environment, supporting hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role emphasizes delivering responsive, customer-focused solutions by addressing service requests, resolving technical problems, and ensuring timely issue resolution.
Candidates must be able to travel to various Northwest Center locations as needed and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented disposition. A broad IT generalist background is required, along with a strong desire to grow and adapt across the organization’s diverse IT infrastructure.
Location: SeaTac, WA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Wage Range: Starting Range: $27.25 - $30.28 Full Range: $27.25 - $33.31

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • IT certifications preferre

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role
  • Basic experience with Microsoft operations systems, software, and 365 environments
  • Familiar with basic computer and network hardware, and have the ability to perform technical services of low complexity
  • Basic understanding of computers and printer troubleshootin

  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce
  • Able to work independently and respond quickly to support needs

Responsibilities
  • Provide immediate and ongoing support for employee requests related to laptops, desktops, phones, and tablet-based systems.
  • Providing technical support both remotely and in-person in SeaTac and at our location in the South Lake Union area.
  • Monitor and respond to helpdesk calls, emails, and voicemail-generated tickets as the primary point of contact.
  • Assist with data backups and records retention activities to ensure secure and reliable information management.
  • Collaborate effectively across the IT team and with other departments and divisions within Northwest Center.
    Requirements:

Education
