REQUIREMENTS

• CompTIA A+, Net+ or equivalent certification
• Hands-on experience performing Structured Data Cabling
• Experience with Microsoft operating system environments
• Experience with basic hardware and OS troubleshooting and repair
• Familiarity with installing and configuring networks and network devices
• Familiarity with standard business software (Office, Quickbooks, etc.)
• Familiarity with other OSes is a plus (Mac OS, Linux)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Server environments is a plus
• Ability to provide estimates for wiring jobs

This position will have dual functions starting as a Desktop Support Technician and performing structured data cabling. The candidate must be able to perform both roles on hire.

• Must have excellent phone and customer service skills
• Will provide first tier support and resolution in a timely manner
• Structured data cable installation, termination and organization
• Windows and Mac configuration and troubleshooting
• Installation and setup of printers and other network devices
• Network cable installation and organization
• Basic cybersecurity remediation
• Basic router / switch / access point configuration and installation
• Client consultation and teaching
• General software troubleshooting and fixes
• Mobile device support
