Description
We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join the IT department at TreasuryONE. This role is suited to a dependable and technically capable professional who takes ownership of their work and delivers consistent, well-structured support in a corporate environment. The position involves providing first-line technical support across devices, systems, and applications, while ensuring stability, security, and reliability of the IT environment. You will work closely with senior IT staff, gaining hands-on exposure to modern workplace technologies and developing your technical capability further. Key responsibilities Provide prompt and professional support for desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, applications, and hardware Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive Assist users with network connectivity, printers, and peripheral devices Perform basic account administration, including access management and password resets Support endpoint protection, patching schedules, and routine software updates Log incidents accurately in the IT ticketing system and maintain clear, structured documentation Assist with asset management and upkeep of hardware and software inventories Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT team members when appropriate Experience and qualifications IT Diploma, CompTIA A+ / N+, or equivalent certification (required) One to two years’ experience in IT support or a structured service desk environment (preferred) Solid working knowledge of Windows desktop environments and Microsoft 365 Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms is advantageous Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Clear, professional communication skills, particularly when assisting non-technical users This role is well suited to someone who values accuracy, structure, and accountability, and who wants to build a solid foundation within a professional IT environment.
