Position: – Desktop Troubleshooting Technician. - (Students Welcome to Apply)
Work Mode: Part Time and Work from Home/Client Site.
Pay out: $30-$40 per hour on ABN + Travel Reimbursements + Commissions on Up Sales
Locations Available: Wollongong - Involves traveling to customers.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU APPLY:

  • This is a part time role to begin with and can be converted to permanent full time role later.
  • Although we try to give maximum hours to all our technicians, however there is no minimum guarantee of work hours per week. However on average, our part time techs get around 20-25 hours of work per week depending on the location.
  • Its an ON DEMAND SUPPORT role.
  • You should be prepared to work and travel in a radius of at least 30 Kms from your base location. The more your radius, the more work you get.
  • You can choose to work on weekends too for additional income.
  • Students from Computer and IT Background can apply.
  • This profile includes traveling, you MUST have your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Providing IT Support (Onsite) to Home and Business Users for Issues like Emails, Internet Setup, Printers, Windows and Mac Troubleshooting, Data Recovery, Software and Hardware Troubleshooting etc.
  • This role may require traveling around different suburbs.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Minimum 1 Year of demonstrated experience for Desktop Troubleshooting. Experience can be in Australia or Overseas
  • Should have technical knowledge of diagnosing technical problems and issues such as installation, maintenance, repair, upgrade and configuration and troubleshooting of desktops, software, hardware, printers, internet, email and operating systems.
  • Having customer facing experience is an added advantage.
  • Very Strong Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Must have their own vehicle along with a valid Australian Driving License in case traveling to customers.
  • Should be a quick thinker and Self Motivated with go getter attitude.
  • Should be motivated to earn Commissions on Up Selling support packages to existing customers.
  • You have to be based in Wollongong and should have work rights. (Candidates applying from outside Australia shall not be considered)
