Job Title: IT Desktop Technician
Location: North Devon District Hospital, Barnstaple, EX31 4JB
Trust: Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS FT
Job Type/Shift Patterns: Full-time, Monday to Friday, either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, totalling 37.5 working hours per week. (100% onsite)
Pay Rate: £13.57/Hr. + Holiday Pay

JOB SUMMARY:

Support approximately 5,000 users across Northern and Eastern Devon.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Ideally your experience will cover most of the below:

• Asset management and hardware troubleshooting
• Active Directory user admin
• PC imaging (ZENworks preferred)
• Good documentation and time management skills
• Active Directory user management.

• 1st and 2nd line IT support for hardware, software, and user issues
• Desktop/application support (PCs, printers, peripherals)
• Device setup, imaging, configuration, and maintenance
• Asset management, equipment audits, and records updates
• Remote troubleshooting using management tools
• Assist with stock control, asset disposal, and server support when needed
