To receive and despatch goods in busy Goods In/Out Department and pack goods for replenishment. To assist the Despatch management in ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day operations in order to fulfil business and department targets, while maintaining product safety and quality standards.

MAIN DUTIES
· To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages
· Load and unload trucks and vans in line with H&S procedures
· Move goods to relevant departments using pallets trucks and electric ride on trucks
· Notify the relevant Department via the Delivery Note of any short shipments/mis-picks
· Notify relevant Department of any damaged goods received and place in the Quarantine section, awaiting further instruction
· Physical movement of stock from the Goods In area to the warehouse and/or packing and putting away stock onto the shelves
· Shelf replenishment, take from pallet bin locations, replenish shelf and then put the balance back in pallet bin location
· Maintain yard and department tidiness/recycle the cardboard
· Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded
· Ensure correct labelling of all orders for despatch
· To replenish the Warehouse as and when required, ensuring stock is always available for picking
· Ensure all vehicles are loaded correctly and on time
· Ensure all cages and stillages are secure in accordance with Health & Safety regulations
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Locate products and rotate stock effectively
· To lead by example and demonstrate our Safety First attitude and approach
· To follow all safety procedures including our safe systems of work, the correct wearing of personal protective equipment and other specific safety instructions relevant to the task being carried out
· To adhere to all Site Standards including legislative requirements
· To ensure all safety concerns are reported and that any hazards and faults are followed up
